ECTS grading scale

The international approval of evaluation schemes resulted in a grading scale that requires the lecturers to always have a current assessment of the class results, which is also expressed in percentages.

This grading scale does not aim to substitute the current classification but completes it, by providing the grades achieved by the student in the teaching institution he/she attends, with new information elements.

Students must not expect their original university to provide, to the teaching institution they are going to frequent, a mathematical equivalence for the grades they achieved. All teaching institutions are totally free to use this grading scales as they deem fit.
